On Sunday night, Graham stated on Facebook that he was suffering from cardiac difficulties, naming the post “Atrial Fibrillation.” He said he was going to the Mayo Clinic for a checkup and that he anticipated to be admitted because he wasn’t feeling well. Graham’s Facebook page was subsequently updated on Monday with a statement from his wife Valerie, who stated that Graham was on IV Lasix to assist clear fluid from his lungs. βHe is in afib and cardiac failure with fluid in his lungs,β she wrote.
At around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Graham’s page was updated again, with his wife commenting, “the fluid is coming off slowly but every little bit helps.” Afib is still present. They’re doubling his diuretic dose for three days to see if it helps. They can’t do much more since it could harm his kidneys.β Valerie expressed her gratitude to fans for their prayers and support. Since then, there has been no further information. Graham, who is 78 years old, has had a number of health concerns in recent years.
